The cardigan is worked in one seamless piece, from the top down. The set-in sleeves are worked by picking up stitches from the armhole edges and knit from the top down.

Errata: The incorrect needle size is mentioned in a few spots, it should state U.S. 9/5.5 mm needles, not U.S.7/4.5 mm. Throughout the knit, use the needle size that gives you 18 sts/4” gauge.
