The Lorax is really popular around here and well, when your mother’s a knitter then you can have a real thneed of your own!

These instructions will work for different yarns (at least I think so). You start at the “hat” end and work your way down to the dangly arms. You can make it as big or as small as you’d like. Mine was kind of small and I used 288 yards.

Have fun with it - add cables, bobbles, short rows, lace, or other odd snippets of knitting techniques. Anything to make it more thneed-like. And have fun with your photo shoot - we sure did!
