This mitten was designed with a hat you can find in Eve’s Cabled Winter Set, to be a one skein project for Solitude Wool’s Border Leicester 2-ply Aran wt. yarn; in size S/M. This pattern includes a right and left charted cable design and thumb gusset. The design elements include a 2-stitch twist, purl ribbing and a cable design with yarn overs worked inside each cable. The cable begins in the cuff and is worked up the front of the mitten onto the hand. The palm, and top of the hand is finished in stockinette. Should you prefer not to have a full mitten you may easily bind-off shortly after the cable and have a lovely pair of half mitts.
