The Evie Sweater
The Evie Sweater is a top-down sweater knit in the round with a circular yoke. It has a comfortable fit with 15-20 cm of positive ease and the minimal shaping makes it a great beginner project. You begin by knitting the collar which is worked in rib and then knitted together to create the double folded collar. The yoke is shaped with increases which are evenly spaced out across the work and then split to form the body and sleeves. The body is knit in stocking stitch and finished with a ribbed edge and tubular bind off, as are the sleeves.

Materials
You will require 10 (11) 11 (12) 13 (14) 15 (15) 16 skeins of Drops Big Merino held with 3 (4) 4 (4) 5 (5) 5 (6) 6 skeins of Drops Kid Silk. Both yarns are held together throughout. If you would like to use different yarns, there are suggested substitutes stated in the pattern.

The Evie Sweater shown in the photos is knit in Drops Big Merino in Lavender Mix 09 held with Drops Kid Silk in Light Lavender 09.

You will require 6mm circular needles and 7mm circular needles. I recommend interchangeable needles as they will come in useful for the collar and cuffs, however, you can use DPNs or Magic Loop if you would prefer.

Sizing
The Evie Sweater is graded in nine different sizes, ranging from a bust circumference of 80 cm – 150 cm. The sizes A (B) C (D) E (F) G (H) I are designed to fit a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm.

Please note, sizes H and I have not been test knitted. If you would like to test knit either of these sizes, please email me and I will be happy to provide you with a copy of the pattern for free in exchange for your feedback.

Gauge
14.5 sts x 20 rows in stocking stitch on 7mm needles in 10 cm. Knit, wash and block a 10 cm swatch before you begin in order to ensure that your tension is right.

Extra Information
The model in the photos is wearing a size A and has a bust circumference of 82 cm and is 164 cm tall.
