I started making coasters for a tent sale and a friend asked if I could make her some evil eye coaster…great idea!! And so I did….

I don’t think the gauge is important but you can play around with yarn types and hook sizes to get the size you need. I’ve also included an extra option for increasing the coaster by 1 more round incase you are using a thinner yarn and want a bigger coaster.

A standard worsted weight 9ply yarn and a 5mm hook will give you a good size coaster.
