I used the yarn in the photos but Stylecraft would work just as well. As would any double-knit or the equivalent.

The finished lamb, when worked in double knit yarn, will measure approximately 22cm when sat down. This will of course vary with weights of yarn and hook/tension. For a smaller finished item please use 4 ply.

This pattern is relatively easy to follow but does require basic crochet knowledge of single and double crochet and the ability to work a magic ring and bobble stitch. Full instructions are in the pattern but everything is easily learnt from Youtube if you are not 100% sure.

This pattern is written in English using US terms

For each of the sheep pictured I used the following.
100g of Stylecraft dk Bambino in cream
100g Stylecraft dk Bambino in Ring a Roses or Rocking horse 30g approx Hobbycraft dk Premium Acrylic in beige or grey Small amount of pink dk for the ears if the body colour isn’t suitable 3mm Crochet hook
A pair of 15mm safety eyes
toy stuffing
Stitch Markers (optional you can use scraps of yarn) Scissors
Darning needle
5 inch upholstery needle (you don’t have to have one, but it is so
much easier)
