The pattern specifies: Bedspread weight Cotton Thread (size 10) 400 yards (366 meters) per ball One ball. (The sample in the book was worked in Aunt Lydia’s Classic Crochet Thread, white.)
Steel crochet hook, size 7 (1.65 mm) or size needed for gauge.
Gauge swatch: 2.25” / 5.75 cm diameter: Work same as doily through Round 4.
Stitches: Beginning Cluster, Cluster, Front Post Single Crochet, Front Post Double Crochet, Back Post Double Crochet, Front Post Treble Crochet, Split front Post Treble Crochet, Decrease
The doily is worked in 29 rounds, and the pattern begins on page 15. The instructions are verbal; there is no symbol chart for this pattern.
