Excessively Romantic (Pisces)
Excessively Romantic (Pisces) is available individually and as part of the Zodiac Collection. 12 patterns inspired by each Zodiac sign.
Pisces has an elusive charm. They are idealistic and emotional dreamers. They have an artistic temperament, full of imagination and prone to fantasy. One of their goals is to live their life like a romantic poem. Pisces derive immense pleasure from fully immersing themselves in sensory experiences. They love the sensation of sand in their toes, the aroma emanating from a lover’s skin, and the harmonious melodies carried by a gentle summer breeze.
This sign is all about romantic, dreamy pieces like this flowy semi-circular shawl. Pisces embrace creativity, bohemian, and ethereal styles. This shawl is all about the crispy yarn and simple fishnet lace to match the style of the mermaid of the Zodiac.
Are you an Pisces? I would love to hear from you. Let me know in the comments if the pattern fits your personality.

CONSTRUCTION NOTES
This half-circle shaped shawl begins with a provisionally cast on garter stitch tab and is knitted from the neck down. Increase rows are worked at varying intervals using a method based on Elizabeth Zimmermann’s Pi Shawl. This creates a half-circle shape that sits perfectly on your shoulders. The lace stitch is easy to follow and the pattern is fully written. The shawl is quite flexible and it will work even if you repeat the lace sections a few more or less times. The result is a romantic and lightweight shawl, perfect for warm weather.
