Exemplary Lace
This sweet little scarf is worked with short rows to create the gentle arc in a combination of lace and textured patterns edged in a scalloped design. The piece is worked from the bottom up, in one piece, no seams!!!!!
Finished size blocked is 82” in length, width is from 12” at the widest to 8” on the ends.
Scarf works up fast using #7, 4.5 mm knitting and DK weight yarn. I used Lana Gatto Super Soft, 5 Skeins (625 yds.) and it surly lives up to its’ name. 35 markers are used to mark the wrap and turn stitches.
Pattern is entirely in both charts and row by row written instructions. A good tutorial on working wraps and hiding them on the following rows can be found at

The article is easy to understand and the results are almost invisible.
