Exoskeleton is a breathable, but cozy shawl featuring a lace edge and elongated stitch detailing. The comfort of an alpaca wrap in the change of seasons serves to provide an extra layer of protection, a delicate exoskeleton.

This pattern calls for US 8 needles, but I’ve also made it with US 10 which results in an airier wrap with more defined stitching, still in under 2 skeins of Ultra Alpaca.
