Exploration in Green is a top down Raglan Sweater with a cable and rib pattern inspired by twisted tree trunks and colours inspired by nature.
It features a versatile neckline that can be worn high or low on the neck, or even pulled low on one shoulder to give an asymmetric feel.
The shape skims the body making it extremely easy and comfortable to wear and the rib contributes to a flattering body shape.
It is knitted in DK weight yarn - choose your favourite colours or simply match them to nature.

About this sweater
The sweater is knitted top down in the round with the i-cord bind off used on all hems.
First, cast on for the neck line using a provisional cast on.
You will work 4 set up Rnds and then start working the pattern from the chart or written instructions.
When the yoke is finished the sleeves stitches are put on hold to be worked later, and the body is worked in the round to bind off
After finishing the body, the sleeve stitches are placed back on your needle and worked in the round to the bind off.
Finally, the neck stitches are placed back on your needle and finished with an i-cord bind off. This bind off is designed to tighten the neckline and to make a neat finish.

4.00 mm (US 6)

Measured on washed unblocked fabric knitted in the round.
St St - 22 st and 32 Rnds in 10 cm / 4 inches
2x2 Rib and cable pattern - 28 st and 32 Rnds in 10 cm / 4 inches
