I knew as soon as I drew up the pattern for my Explore More Headband that eventually I would also make it into a hat pattern. I love the way these zigzags look on a cozy hat!
The pattern is inspired by the jagged rocky cliffs all along the north shore of Minnesota, and the headband pattern was written during a time I was challenging myself to get out and walk or explore every single day-hence the name.
The pattern is written in three sizes, one youth sized (size 1), one smaller/medium adult (size 2), and one adult l/xl sized (size 3). The whole pattern is knit with worsted weight wool held double.
