I have always loved making a good, old-fashioned granny square but wanted to do something a little different with it and designed this extended granny square pattern. It’s a perfect design for just getting on with and for being more mindful.

The accompanying tutorial gives you all of the information and guidance needed to make this along with ideas of how you could develop this basic into other items, such as a scarf, wrap, table runner or whatever you would like to adapt this into.

For the tutorial, I used a 5.5mm crochet hook with Paintbox Yarns Simply DK yarn but you could use whatever yarn and hook you would like to get your chosen outcome.
