Extra Marshmallow Mitts
For accessibility this pattern collection is available in my etsy shop. If you would like a copy in your rav library please message me. These little mitts have a cable that looks like a “plait” or long braid. There is no separate thumb, but the opening is placed to create a soft gusset and cover the bottom of the thumb. The fabric is flexible, fitting most hand sizes. The pattern tells you how to adjust both the arm and hand lengths. Best of all, the cables are easy to make and will not hurt your hands.
Loom: 3/8 inch gauge loom, 34 pegs in the round
This pattern is part of The Cozy Cable Collection, an e-book containing six coordinating patterns. The e-book contains both a large print (24 point font) and paper-saver (12 point font) file, as well as a full photo gallery and a section on variations for your patterns.
My patterns are low vision and screen reader accessible. The text is black, Arial and large print 24 point font. All of the directions are fully written out and no charts are relied on to complete the patterns. No italics are used. They are screen reader and tablet friendly.
