The Extra Twisted Hat is an easy to make faux cabled hat with a cozy ribbed brim and slouchy fit. It is knitted in the round from the bottom up with an easy to remember series of knits, purls, and slipped stitches.

The finished size is Adult, 9”/22.86cm in length, and comfortably fits head up to 22”/56cm circumference.

When choosing a yarn there is some flexibility. I used an Aran weight that is fairly dense but lighter chunky weight can be substituted. Check your Gauge and adjusted accordingly.

• 1 ball of Aran weight yarn, 145yds/133m
• 1 stitch marker
• tapestry needle
