Eye of the Emerald Mandala
by Jenny Guldin
This pattern is
available for free.
Originally designed in green for St. Paddy’s Day, this mandala would look great in any colors.
The finished pattern will need a small amount of blocking. Most rounds are worked with extra stitches, so ruffling can be expected while you work.
The first two rounds should measure around 3” (7.5 cm) across.
Two skeins are needed for a two-color design. Only uses 2 oz (28 g) of the main color and 3 oz (85 g) of the contrasting color for a total of 5 oz (113 g). The pattern could be worked in one color without binding off, then only needing one six to eight oz skein.
