Wrap the Tigress around your neck to make a statement and feel safe, protected and courageous all at once.

The feature square in this design is achieved by slipping stitches and working with just one colour per row. Much simpler than stranded knitting.

The technique is called Mosaic knitting and if you have never tried Mosaic this is the perfect starting point.

The Mosaic square is fully written row by row as well as a chart for those who like charts. Your choice.

Measurements: After gentle blocking:
Neck opening = 50 cm/20” stretches to 64 cm/25”.
Centre depth = 35.5 cm/14”. Back neck seam 12.5 cm/5”.

Gauge: Before blocking 28 stitches x 52 rows = 10 cm/4” square in Garter stitch.

Yarns used: Hobbii Unicorn Solids Fingering (14wpi), 75% merino wool, 25% polyamide.
100 grams, 400 m/437 yds.

(B) .25 skein Colour 1 Cream (100 m/109 yds in total).

The amounts of yarn used are based on my sample for the design but will depend on the yarn you choose, variations in yarn thickness of each colour, your personal gauge/tension and any changes made.
