Eye See You is a very-low-sew amigurumi friend. The only sewing is to attach the tail eye to the tail -- everything else is crochet only.

Be advised. While they are curious and friendly, they do have a tendency to get into places where they’re not necessarily welcome. Curiosity and cat-like creatures and all that.

This pattern is aimed at intermediate-to-advanced crocheters. Techniques used include crab stitch (rsc), compound increases, compound decreases, subrow steps, and partial decreases.

The pattern includes detailed instructions and photos. Finished Eyebeasts range from 6 to 11 inches in length, depending on yarn weight and hook size.

Eye See You is worked in the round, and not in a spiral.

No special materials needed -- any yarn will do (although the little examples are in hobbii 8/4 rainbow) all this pattern uses is yarn and fiberfill (plus a crochet hook, scissors, and a needle). You will want 4-5 colors of the same yarn weight
