Amanda is a baker extraordinaire. She makes the best cakes and is a great decorator too. She loves to laugh and has a goofy sense of humour, which is infectious. When she laughs, the whole group laughs. Amanda loves the colour purple and lace makes these socks even sweeter, like her cakes. These socks are made with love for her birthday.

This is a Medium (64-stitch) toe-up sock with a short row heel. I used the Fish Lips Kiss Heel, but you can substitute your own heel. The size is a women’s medium – 7.5 to 9 US shoe size (the length is adjustable to suit your foot).

The pattern is a lace/eyelet pattern with some knits and purls through the back loops. The pattern would look great in a solid, semi-solid, tonal or very lightly variegated. It is really not suited to patterns, striped, heavily variegated or spotted. The size is adjustable by just adding or removing columns on the pattern.
