Eyeball Ball
Whether you’re into biblically accurate angels, rpgs, the macabre, the strange or spooky then you’re in the right space.
This willed itself into creation from an idea I couldn’t get out of my head, and now you can create one too with this PDF pattern! Enjoy? (yes, I chose that punctuation mark on purpose).
Pattern includes photos for technique clarification, major steps, and assembly- this pattern does not contain photos for every repeating step.
This pattern is a 16 page PDF.
Pattern is written in US terminology (with Canadian spelling)

Level: Advanced beginner/early intermediate (stitches are simple, but there’s colour changing, and sewing. So. Much. Sewing. And a lot of small pieces.)
Project time: 29 hours (average pace). It’s a beast.
Finished size: approx (personal tension and yarn choice may vary finished size (Loops and Threads Impeccable was used for the example)
Diameter (cross section): 14” across approximately (eyeballs included in measurement)
Circumference (all the way around): 42” around (also accounting for eyeballs)

Supplies:
• 3.5mm hook for the majority of pattern. 3mm hook for small detail work (optional but recommended)
• Stitch markers, or similar (optional)
• Yarn needle (for sewing)
• Polyfil (lots).
• Worsted weight Yarn (weight- Medium/4): amounts are approximates, personal tension (and yarn choice) may vary amounts
– 224 yards/204 meters for main colour (base colour- red in images)
- 109 yards/100 meters for white, 109 yards/100 meters for iris colour, minimal for black (pupil).
Stitches/Abbreviations Used- US terminology
• St: stitch
• Ch: chain
• Sl st: slip stitch
• MR: magic ring/Magic circle
• Sc: single crochet
• Inc: regular increase (two single crochet stitches in one stitch)
• Dec: regular decrease (crochet 2 stitches together)
• F/O: finish or fasten off
• Numbers in brackets at the end of the row dictate the number of stitches you should have
