A Monster
I started off with a smaller eyeball pattern designed for a monster that will be released at a later date. He is an eyeball eating monster with a working zipper. You can read more about the monster here.

But then I decided I would also make a bigger pattern for the eyeball to be used for decorations.

This pattern includes a photo tutorial as well as clear written instructions that makes this pattern suitable for a beginner.
