Eyeball Scarf
You remind me of the babe. (What babe?)
The babe who wants to relive their fantasy stuck to a wall in their favourite 80’s movie featuring a certain King of the Goblins and a dance belt…..
Or maybe you’re a horror fanatic who wants something more macabre….
Or maybe you’re a Puppet (with or without an M) fan and want a silly, brightly coloured scarf of many eyes because life is short and ridiculous and gosh darn it, embrace anything that brings you joy.
(I say all three lovingly, because I fit in those categories too)
Any way it’s sliced, here’s a pattern to make your inner child happy, make your macabre heart a bit darker, or your silly joy visible…. (You Goblin Babe <3 )
Pattern includes photos for technique clarification, major steps, and assembly- this pattern does not contain photos for every repeating step.
This pattern is a 15 page PDF.
Pattern is written in US terminology (with Canadian spelling)
(Please reach out if you have any questions, or issues with the pattern: like my other patterns, it has been tested, but we’re human and sometimes miss things).
Level: intermediate (stitches are simple, but there is one not part of the usual lexicon: step by step instructions with accompanying photos are included- knowledge of the parts of a stitch, including front/back loops, and post are necessary). The only sewing on this project is the embroidered highlight on the eyes.
Project time: approx. 13 hours (average pace)
Finished scarf size:
Length: approx. 70” (177 cm) as written (length can be adjusted easily)
Width across: 3” (8 cm)
Protruding bits: 3” (7.5cm) to 3 ½” (9cm)- you can make them all either length if you prefer.
THIS PATTERN MAY NOT BE RESOLD: you may not resell or redistribute this pattern in part or in whole.
