This pattern is inspired by a garter baktus scarf I made previously. The scarf and pattern is subject to personal preferences and can be adjusted to your specifications. This simple pattern repeats every four rows with and increase or decrease on the first row of every repeat.

Note: In the following pattern I will notate an increase as MO (make one) which you can do by your preferred method. My preferred method of increase is knitting the front and back of the stitch (which keeps from creating a hole), and my preferred decrease is by knitting two together (k2tog).
