When I was first designing this blanket I was going to alternate the diamond pattern with stockinette but I liked the diamonds so much I decided to knit them for the entire blanket.

The skill level is beginner to intermediate. The border is knit as you go along so there’s no need to pick up stitches.

The stitches/technique used are: knit, purl, yarn over, slip stitches, pass slipped stitches over

Materials: Double Knit Yarn, US 5 (3.75 mm) 24 inch circular needle, Stitch Markers, Yarn Needle.

Finished size is 21 inches by 24 inches (53 1/2 cm x 61 cm).
