I LOVE it when things look harder to make than they are - this set of scarf patterns fits that description perfectly! Three variations on a knitted theme, all with eyelet edges, directional knitting, interesting texture - and all can look anywhere from sophisticated to sporty when worn, depending on the yarn you choose. And they are all fun to knit.

  1. Basic with a Quirk: diagonal garter stitch with an eyelet border on all four edges. NOTE: This pattern is available separately for FREE - as a sample of my work. Enjoy!

  2. Sinuosity: one straight edge + one wavy edge + garter stitch with an eyelet border = an interesting wrap to keep your neck cosy without being too bulky.

  3. Petals: undulating garter stitch with an eyelet border on each long edge - this one looks fantastic with a dressy coat and is guaranteed to attract comments and attention (such as: “You MADE that? How? What shape is it?” etc etc).

Any one of these can be successfully knit using just 100 yards/meters of bulky weight yarn (for some yarns, this is a single ball!). They make perfect, quick-knit gifts - if you can bring yourself to give them away!
