Eyelet Hearts Baby Blanket
This blanket is worked in little square sections that look like patchwork but are actually knit all in one piece. This construction method gives the blanket a very pretty zigzag edge. I use the crochet cast on because it looks exactly like the bind off edge, though you can use any cast on method you like. I also slip the first stitch of every row to make nice selvedge edges. The pattern makes a 36-inch square blanket, a nice size for a crib/cot, or to wrap baby up in. You could make it any size you want by adding or subtracting squares or using other weights of yarn and different needle sizes.
The pattern includes detailed written instructions, graphs, and schematic. I am always available for pattern support and knitting help. Please just ask!
