Eyelet Lace Shawl
An easy to knit lightweight shawl that looks great! This is a redesign from a heavily damaged alpaca shawl that a friend found. The origin of the original design is unknown to me. I have modified the original design to have a right leaning lace pattern. I love using DK weight merino silk yarn in this design because it feels great and is reasonably priced. I can make this shawl in a weekend so it makes a fast gift.
Easy to make the shawl longer and wider by increasing the number of repeats. Can also be made larger by using worsted weight yarn on size 8 needles.
