Eyelet Ridge Shawl
-- All proceeds I receive from this pattern will be donated to Doctor’s Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières. --
The latest version of the pattern has been uploaded. It includes the errata listed below. You should have the latest version which is marked v1.1 at the bottom of the pattern.
Errata - September 30th: on Row 2 of Ridge Pattern, it should be:
row 2: (WS) knit to marker, sm, p1, sm, knit to end.
This is a shawl knit with our own Emerald Lotus Fiberarts progressive color change handspun yarn.
Depending on the weight of the yarn, you can try different needle sizes. The sample shawl was knit with worsted weight yarn and I used size 10US needles, but if you are using DK or fingering weight yarn, I would suggest going down in needle size. It should be knit loose enough for a nice drape.
The finished measurement of the sample shawl is 48” by 20” after blocking.
Knit in our Emerald Lotus Fingering Weight yarn, the size is 56” by 20.5” using size 5US needles. Getting exact gauge is not necessary for this pattern.
Knit in fingering weight, use a size 5US or 6US needles. In lace weight, use a size 5US.
Our yarn is available for purchase in our Etsy Shop, Emerald Lotus Fiberarts.
