The larger needles should be used for the gauge swatch.
This pattern is knitted in the round and requires circular or double-pointed needles, as well as a cable needle.
There is a matching pullover.
Yardages for the hat are estimates. The yardage given in the pattern is for both this hat and the matching pullover as follows:
- Size 2: 720 yards
- Size 4: 960 yards
- Size 6: 960 yards
- Size 8: 1200 yards
Instructions for the hat cover two sizes: Child’s 2-4 and child’s 6-8.
