My Eyes on You Pillow is one of my book inspired pillows. It is inspired by Toni Morrison’s book, The Bluest Eye. The front side is composed of sixteen granny squares. The back is a large traditional granny square. The pillow is joined together with a single crochet stitch, and the bottom of the pillow is held together with five buttons. This allows the pillow case to be taken on and off the pillow insert. I used MillaMia Naturally Soft Cotton yarn, but any sport weight yarn would work. You will need two balls of the color of the front side and two balls of the color of the back side. Additionally, you will need a little cream, black, and shades of blue and green to make the eyes with. There are step by step pictures in the pattern to help you.
