This Baby Blanket is So Easy to knit!!! I know it looks difficult but it’s Not! You start with the center panel and work your color stripe pattern. You than pick up stitches on each side of the center panel and work your color stripe pattern.
Last year I designed The Bold Patch Throw and was asked many times to do a Baby Blanket Version so I Designed one using Berroco Modern Cotton. Now I am offering design using Malabrigo Rios a wonderful Pure Merino Superwash. My inspiration was the Pennsylvania Dutch Amish Quilts. I love their bold geometric patterns and dynamic color combinations.
SIZE: 29” W X 30”L
YARN: Malarbrigo Rios, Pure Merino Superwash Wool, 210 yds, 100 grams. Wash
in cold water. Color A-131 Sand Bank 2 hank, Color B-069 Pearl Ten 2 hanks, Color C-096 Sunset 1 hank
GAUGE: 16 sts = 4”.
TOOLS: 10 US 32” circular needles (6.0mm ), (this is not knit in the round but you need at least 32” when you pick up the stitches on the center panel). Yarn Needle.
STITCH: Garter Stitch (knit every row)
