This f-OWL play sock pattern was inspired by my love of socks and owls. These are knit from the toe up using a Turkish cast on or Judy’s magic cast on and have a reverse dutch heel.

The pattern instructions are written for using magic loop method, however you can use DPN’s if you are more comfortable using that method.

Must be able to read lace charts as there are no written instructions for the actual lace pattern.

Yarn in photo is Cherry Tree Hill Broadband Supersock in Aubergine.

These socks will fit ladies size 6, however you can make the foot longer to fit up to a size 9 or use bigger needles/yarn.
