This fab pattern was created in honour of my favourite ice lolly and features a lovely sedge stitch that created tons of definition and texture.

Also it’s one of those great stitches that looks difficult but is in fact super easy.

Any DK yarn will work with this pattern and any combination of colours (obviously not everyone will be as ice lolly obsessed as me!), just pick a palette and get hooking.

There is no set gauge as tension is not critical for this project and this pattern was first published in Simply Crochet Magazine (issue 40, January 2016) so has been tech edited by them.
