This classic Christmas Stocking is a great way to practice two-hand, two-color knitting. The cuff includes corrugated ribbing. There is a simple panel in which a name and/or date can by added with duplicate stitch. It is done in the round with both circular and double pointed needles.

I chose traditional Christmas green, red, and white to make my stocking and used these color designations in writing the pattern. I used approximately 75 yards of each color.

The stocking measures 17 inches long and 5 1/2 inches wide. You could make it bigger using aran weight yarn and size 7 needles or bulky yarn and size 8 needles. You will need to adjust yardage accordingly.
