All machines can work the hat with worsted weight  yarn. Two widths of brim are given. Yellow hat is the smaller brim. White hat has a wider brim that ruffles more. 3 styles of crown from super easy to more labor intense are given. Bulkies will use every needle, mid-gauge machines every other needle. Recommended yarns are  Patons Classic wool, Lion Wool, 2 strands of Jaggerspun 3/8 run together.
