Two techniques combine to make a snuggly warm and lovely scarf! Double knitting creates a double-thick scarf in stockinette stitch on both sides; it’s a great skill that quickly become addictive once mastered, as it blends ease with interesting work. The Fibonacci sequence creates a striking stripe pattern that’s reversed on each side. As an added bonus, you won’t have a large number of yarn ends to weave in once the scarf is finished, because both colors are employed throughout the pattern.

Both techniques are explained in the pattern. Written for the advanced beginner, you need to know how to do a long-tail cast on, knit, purl, and bind off.
