Fabulous Freddie the Flower Fairy
Freddie is a stylish, fun-loving frog who likes to dress up. This is Freddie as a flower fairy with dragon fly wings and a daisy hat. Other outfits in Freddie’s closet include a frog prince, angel, devil, and mummy.
The pattern has been tested by independent testers. The pdf will be available for download immediately after purchase. The pattern is written in English and uses US terminology. It also includes photographs to demonstrate special techniques and the assembly of different parts, as well as links to video tutorials.
SKILL LEVEL
The pattern requires familiarity with the basic amigurumi stitches and is thus suitable for advanced beginners or intermediate crocheters.
YARN
This pattern was made using a fine cotton yarn (yarn weight 2). The specific amount of yarn needed depends on which hat option is made. It is possible to make Freddie using a different yarn weight, just be aware that this will affect the estimates for the amount of yarn, the final size of the toy, the size of safety eyes as well as the size of hook needed.
The main body needs around 77 yds / 70 m of yarn. Need around 27 yds / 25 m for the wings and 38 yds / 35 m for the flower.
OTHER SUPPLIES NEEDED
For the pattern a US 2 (2,5 mm) sized crochet hook was used. You will also need two safety eyes: 0,5 inch / 12 mm or larger, a sewing needle, scissors, fiber fill and stitch markers.
SIZE
Freddie without the flower is 3.15 inch/8 cm high.
