A perfect gift for your sister or your mum, these are made from a cotton/bamboo mix DK weight yarn and a designed to be machine washable and re-usable, to replace cotton wool pads and wipes. Made using two strands of yarn crocheted together, a total of two 50gram balls of yarn will be needed for this project.

A pattern for a basket to go with a Facial Scrubby pattern. The facial scrubby pattern is widely available for free, I got the idea from www.mysweetsomethings.blogspot.com but I enlarged the scrubbies to make them a bit bigger. I have provided a full pattern both for my larger scrubbies and the basket itself. The matching basket which stores 7 scrubbies, a week’s supply, is my own design.

The pattern is in UK terminology, but there is only 1 stitch used which differs from US terminology and this is explained in the pattern.

There are lots of pictures to help beginners. If you’re experienced you could knock this out in an evening. It’s a great last minute gift idea.
