You need:

• 4.25mm crochet hook
• six 50yard skeins of worsted weight yarn (you won’t use it all)
• four stitch markers

Terms Used: (US crochet terms)

• sk: skip
• ch: chain
• dc: double crochet
• hdc: half double crochet
• sl st: slip stitch
• sc: single crochet
• dc3tog: double crochet 3 together (puff)
• working in the round (hat)
• working flat (ears)

Small size (6-12m) measures 6 inches by 7 inches not including ear flaps. Hat stretches up to 1.5 inches.

Toddler size (2-4y) measures 8.5 inches by 7 inches not including ear flaps. Stretches up to 1.5 more inches.

Gauge: 2 “puff” stitches per 1.25 inches (one puff stitch is dc3tog, ch-1)
