Fade Into Neverland DK Socks
For more info and introductory discounts, check out this Substack post: https://open.substack.com/pub/mountainsongdesigns/p/fade-...
These socks were born out of my love for toe-up socks, the fit of a traditional “heel flap and gusset” sock, and a fun fade! Many toe-up socks that I’ve knit have come close to the fit of the heel flap and gusset technique, but they’re always missing something. I figured out what it was and reverse-engineered my favorite fit!
But now, for DK weight, too!

Want BOTH versions??? Check out the Fade Into Neverland Set ebook!
Are you wondering, “But why are we fading into Neverland?” These socks are perfect for those two lonely— maybe One of a Kind—skeins (aka Lost Boys) you have loitering in your online shopping cart or stash. You know they’ll look fantastic together, you just aren’t sure how to get them to play nicely. This is their chance to shine!
This pattern includes both written instructions and a chart, as well as video tutorial support. This pattern has been tech edited and test knit.
This pattern is an intermediate level pattern, but is accessible to an adventurous beginner and beyond.
Includes Video Resources for tutorials on casting on, binding off, special techniques for working the heel, and how to alternate skeins over multiple rounds.
