This is a great pattern to use up scraps left from your larger projects since it uses only 1/4-1/2 a skein of each color. This pattern was thought up while trying to use the scraps leftover from my Jodi shawl (knit pattern)

The beanie is meant to fade 3 colors together. You can do this by choosing 3 gradient shades of the same color, or you may pick 3 colorways that share one color/speckle with the previous colorway.

I would suggest using a heavy dk or light worsted weight yarn.
