Fade Out Shawl
I love gradient yarns and this one is very unique! I wanted to come up with a pattern that would let the yarn speak for itself and still have an interesting design. As you complete more rows, the shawl becomes wider. At the same time, as the blue fades to green, the large sections fade to small.
This is an asymmetric shawl that increases on only one side. It will work with any size cake of yarn. The amount of yarn you have will determine what size your sections end at. For example, a smaller cake might end before the sections reach their smallest size, whereas a larger cake may have several of the smallest sections at the end like mine does. I used one cake of Willow Yarns Mural. My shawl is about 57” across and 27” tall.
