Faded Mosaic Blanket
Welcome to the Faded Mosaic Blanket!
This fun project uses both the intarsia method and mosaic knitting technique to create this unique variegated honeycomb design. These techniques are actually much easier than they look but it does require a little bit of concentration to ensure that the design is done right.
The best thing about this pattern is that you can choose whatever colours you want to make your blanket unique!
The official pattern will automatically sent to you when it is released on Friday the 11th of October!
Measurements
ONE SIZE (Roughly a queen size bed)
Length: 200cm/79”
Width: 130cm/51”
Meterage: 1577m/1725yds
Weight: 2850g/ 6.6lbs
There are instructions in the purchased pattern to make a slightly smaller version.
The pattern requires 10mm (US 15) circular needles and 16ply/Super Bulky yarn. The pattern was written using Hobbii Umami yarn but you can easily substitute this yarn for an alternative.
Please remember that if you can’t source the yarn that is recommended then try to find a yarn with a similar tension gauge. The tension gauge is the most important part when ensuring your completed beanie is the same as what you see in the pictures. The tension for this pattern is 8 sts x 12 rows in stocking stitch with 10mm (US 15) needles.
This listing is a knitted pattern and not a finished product. You will receive a printable version of the pattern.
The pattern is written with Australian terms but there are unit conversions in the pattern.
