The Faded Quilt mitts begin at the wrist with a 2x2 rib and moves into a cosy textured patchwork of simple but eye catching stitches . The pattern contains three sizes, small, medium, and large and is knit with a comfortable gusseted thumb and a folded top which can be unfolded for extra finger warmth. There’s enough detail in the pattern to keep the knitting interesting, but nothing that should be too tricky for a new knitter to master. 36 sts and 48 rows per 4 inches/10 centimetres in stocking stitch worked in the round

Yarn

You will need approximately 40g (60g,80g) of fingering weight yarn I used The Wool Barn Cashmere Sock 4ply in the Pecan colourway

Needles

A set of 2.25mm needles for knitting a small circumference in the round or size needed to obtain gauge.
