The Faded Seafoam shawl showcases the transformation of simple knit and purl stitches into a classic and urban design.

It has also a repetitive stitch pattern so advanced knitters seeking a meditative project will love this shawl, too. Faded Seafoam is worked flat from the top down, starting with a garter tab. Stitches are increased every RS row along the edges and along the center to create a shallow triangular shawl. The pattern is fully written out and charted with stitch counts throughout the entire shawl.

The shawl is knitted in one strand of each color held together.

GAUGE - BLOCKED 4” (10 cm)
In rib pattern, 15 stitches x 25 rows.
Gauge is not crucial at all, but will affect final size and yardage.

Approx. 82.5” (209 cm) wingspan along top edge x 23“ (58 cm) width.
