Pick up a beautiful gradient kit, or stash dive for some colorful fingering-weight leftovers! The Fading Bias scarf is a simple & elegant knit that makes a beautiful accessory for any season.
The Yarn:
One Gradient Kit in Lilt Sock from Black Trillium Fibres • 85/15 Merino / Mulberry Silk • each 135 yd fingering-weight skein weighs 33g • 5 skeins in set • 675 yds total
Other Materials:
Pair of US Size 6 / 4 mm knitting needles
Stationary Marker
Yarn needle
Techniques Used:
• Knitting flat
• Purling
• Increases (Kfb)
• Decreases (K2tog, SSK, psso)
• Yarn overs
• Carrying colors up the side (for no more than 4 rows at a time)
• If an infinity scarf is desired, a basic seam must be sewn (link to an illustrated article on seaming is included)
• A stitch count table is included with row-by-row stitch counts
• All instructions are written, no charts included (basic stitch pattern uses only 3 stitches and results in 3 stitches.)
