The possibilities are endless with this little cardi!

I have been wanting to design a pattern for those amazing gradient sets that dyers are offering lately… But while working on it I realized it would look amazing using any color combination for the collar: Stripes, variegated coordinating colorways, gradients, neon!

This open front cardi with its basic shape will allow you to play with your favorite yarns without getting a ‘busy’ result. Worked from the top down in one piece, the main part of the body grows quickly, leaving the fun part for the last ♥

Finished Measurements:
Bust circumference (when worn closed): 31 (33, 37½, 41, 45½, 49, 53½) inches; 78 (83½, 94½, 103½, 114½, 123½, 134½) cm.
Yoke depth: 6½, (6¾, 7, 8, 8 ¾, 10, 11) inches; 16 (17, 17½, 20, 22, 25, 27½) cm.
Upper sleeve circumference: 11¼ (11½, 12¼, 13½, 15, 17, 18½) inches; 28 (29, 31, 33½, 37, 42½, 46) cm.

Collar: Approx. 480 yards of fingering weight yarn: High Twist Sock Gradient Sets by Pigeonroof Studios (100% Merino - 60g/240yd); 2 sets. It’s not necessary that you use a gradient set here, you can work in a solid color, stripes, variegated…
