Join the fight against Alzheimer’s disease! This top-down
tapered cowl was designed as a crochet counterpart to knit
designer Ann Budd’s Fading Memories Cowl 2025. As part
of the Alzheimer’s Association Longest Day campaign, Ann
knits while raising funds and awareness to help fight this
terrible disease.

Both the knit and crochet versions of the cowl were
designed to represent the continued memory loss that
afflicts people with this disease. $5 of each pattern sold
during the campaign will be donated to directly to alz.org
under Ann Budd’s fundraiser. This year, let’s stitch together
to help those and their families suffering from Alzheimer’s
and other dementia.
