This pattern is for a cropped cardigan to fit a seven year old. It is made from yarn by Mary Cooper of Markree Wool Craft, in County Sligo, called A Soft Morning. The yarn, made from Wensleydale cross, is a soft greyish purple colour with Sugar Plum Angelina through it. The cardigan is knitted seamlessly from the top down using a yoke made from a cable pattern. Stitches are picked up along the edge of the braid to form the main pattern.
