This listing is for a KNIT PATTERN only, so you can make your own Fair Isle Multi-Color Winter Hat. The pattern is written for 5 Color changes and includes a printable chart plus row by row counts and a legend to write your Color choices for reference. See my photos for a 4-color variation and a 3-color variation I made.

As I taught myself to knit, Fair Isle was one of the main reasons I wanted to learn. There are so many great color combinations you can make.

US knitting terminology
Level - Advanced Beginner as you need to work with two colors within some of the rows
Hat Size - Adult
Yarn - less than one skein, Size 6 Super Bulky for the main color, and about 6-8 yards for each of the other colors depending on how many you choose to combine

Needles - 10mm, 16″ circular
